I did not know that the beet seeds were inside the little knobby, tiny fruits. I wondered why I always had clumps of beets. I learned something new today. Thanks.

Our soil is still a bit too cold to plant beets yet but the chard and spinach are in. Let the gardening begin! Great info.

That was helpful to me as I am planting beets the first time this year.
When you pull them apart is it from the fruit that germinated the multiples?

beet are great the leaves are tasty in a salad and the beet itself is good canned or in a soup~!;)
