Sugar – Organic or Not, It is Still Sugar!

Sugar and alcohol are interchangeable addictions. Many people, while attempting to do the right thing and shop organic while beginning their condictive diet fall into the “organic” sugar trap. Because a sugar is organic, while it may be better for you on one level, it can lead you directly into relapse because the bottom line is…Sugar is Sugar! It will still encourage addiction, hypoglycemia, insulin resistance, cancer, etc.

I bake, and I don’t feel like spending $6.00 – $10.00 a pound for Xylitol as a sugar substitute. There is also no way in Hell that I would ever use sucralose (Splenda). So what do I use? I use Organic Sugar. If you drink whey protein shakes, you won’t see the spikes in blood sugar like you may otherwise see.

the thing about fruits is that the sugar in it is not sucrose or glucose that is easily digested by your body, basically it makes your body works harder for the sugar in it.
this helps a lot by moderating your sugar level throughout the day, some fruits do have glucose and sucrose on a higher content than usual these fruits tend to be avoided if possible if diet is your goal.
some fruits however such as dates and strawberry have a chemical to help control blood sugar (makes you full longer)

meant to be eaten in moderation I guess. I mean think about it, in the primitice world, fruits were only available in late spring to mid autumn!… And then there was wine in the winter. heh. I don’t know of many fruits that were available year round from the same area.

That’s all true! But what’s with fruits? Fruits are also high in sugar and that might also mess with your insulin level. Where is the difference?

Great information, but please find a more quite setting. It is very hard to understand all your words with all the back ground noise.

Excellent. Thank you for your research and for getting this message out there. Sugar, coffee and alcohol are all substances I get out of control with (like it’s never enough).
